Braids of Paradise – General FAQs

We specialize in protective styles such as knotless braids, box braids, twists, and custom styles. Blow-dry services and select add-ons are also available.

Yes. Clients are responsible for bringing their own braiding hair unless prior arrangements are made. If we provide the hair, the cost will be added to your booking total.



Please arrive with your natural hair blow-dried or stretched. Braiding hair should be clean, dry, and detangled.

A late fee of $20 will be charged if you are more than 15 minutes late.

Same-day cancellations will result in a 50%
charge of the booked service.

We do not provide accessories. Clients must bring their own if they’d like accessories added to their style.

You must provide the hair at least 2 days before your appointment if you want the hair custom-blended by us.

Currently, our services are tailored toward adults and teens. Please inquire directly if you're interested in kid styles.

At this time, all services are performed in our studio, however, for a $25 fee we can make house calls as long as the need for
travel is mentioned upon booking.



Seriti Hair Oil – General FAQs

Seriti Hair Oil is our in-house, all-natural oil
blend that promotes hair growth, nourishes strands, and creates a healthy scalp
environment. It’s perfect for all hair types and protective styles.

Yes! It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and perfect for keeping the scalp healthy and hydrated under styles like braids, locs, and wigs.

Yes, it is safe for children. However, we recommend doing a patch test first to check for sensitivity.

We recommend applying the oil to your scalp at least 3 times per week or as needed depending on your scalp and hair condition.

Seriti is made with a blend of nourishing oils and natural botanicals such as sweet almond oil as the base, clove, fenugreek, black seed, rosemary,
and stinging nettle root. It’s free from sulfates, parabens, and synthetic
fragrances.

For hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns or issue refunds. However,
if your product arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll happily replace it if we
are contacted within 7 days of product arrival.

You can purchase it directly through our website, in person at your appointment, or in-person at a pop-up event.

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, excluding Sundays and Holidays.  Standard U.S. shipping takes 2–5
business days, depending on your location. Expedited options are available.

Standard shipping is $2.99. Expedited shipping rates vary based on the selected option.

Not at this time. We currently only ship within the U.S.

Yes. You’ll receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.

We are not responsible for orders sent to incorrect addresses, so please double-check your information at checkout.
